Eric Dubois is appointed General Rapporteur of the High Council of Public Finances

Éric Dubois, chief auditor at the Court of Auditors, is appointed General Rapporteur of the HCFP.

A graduate of the École Polytechnique and the ENSAE school of economics, data science and finance, Éric Dubois is a Master Auditor in the First Chamber of the Court of Auditors. He was general rapporteur of the annual report on the situation and outlook of public finances in France from 2016 to 2019. He had been a member of the HCFP since 2016.

His many previous positions include posts with the National Accounts and Economic Budget Committee, the Economic Analysis Board, the Department for Social Security (as Deputy Director for Forecasting and Financial Research), the Directorate-General of the Treasury (as Deputy Director for Macroeconomic Forecasting) and Insee (as Director of Economics Studies and National Accounts).

He is the author of numerous scientific publications in macroeconomics.
